We are deeply saddened by the incident in Nottingham on Tuesday.

As a student community we are devastated by the losses Nottingham, the University of Nottingham, and UoN Students' Union have felt, and we offer our sympathies to them and anyone from Hallam with connections to Nottingham.

A book of condolence has been opened at Nottingham's Council House and people are invited to lay flowers on the steps as a mark of respect.
