As a paramedic society we understand the demands and strains of studying as a paramedic.
As an academic society we aim to provide not only social activities to help in providing space to meet others, relax and have fun but also to support your learning with CPD (Continuous Professional Development) events to improve clinical skills and practice.
We also are involved in lots of great charity work, supporting charities such as Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Sheffield Foodbank. We value the amazing work the charities do to support our local communities and think fundraising is a great way to show our gratitude!
We forge partnerships with a number of organisations - from professionals in our industry to equipment suppliers to relevant other academic societies - offer our members the best opportunities to become the best paramedic they can be on graduation. We aim to complement and consolidate learning delivered on the Paramedic Science course.
Whilst we are focussed on the BSc Paramedic Science course and other Further Education course offered by the department, we are welcoming of anyone who is interested to join our society.
