The Sheffield Hallam Dance Society is a recent addition to the Sheffield Hallam Active and Performance Societies, and debuted in January 2024. Our student-led and funded society is dedicated to promoting the art of dance and providing a platform for students to explore and develop their passion for dance.
Our society offers a diverse range of dance styles to accommodate the interests and skill levels of our members. These styles include Ballet, Contemporary/Lyrical, Jazz, Street/Hip-hop, heels, as well as classes focused on Strength and Flexibility. Whether you're an experienced dancer looking to pursue your passion, or a complete beginner eager to learn, the Sheffield Hallam Dance Society aims to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.
No need to audition, just join straight away using our membership link. We don't choose only the "best" to be in the society, no matter the skill level anyone can join. There is also no pressure at all as we don't participate in competitions, we are just here for fun.
We extend an invitation to individuals of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced dancers, to join us in this exciting journey. The Sheffield Hallam Dance Society is the ideal place to start the year with enthusiasm and rhythm. Join us to make 25/26 a year of dance and self-discovery.
