About us

With Hallam Union Burlesque society you will learn about the dazzling world of burlesque and how to express yourself through the art of tease. We welcome all dance styles and identities of all shapes and sizes. No matter your experience, Hallam Union Burlesque is a supportive and welcoming environment for you to build your confidence and connect with like minded people. Reveal as much or as little as you like there is no pressure.

Our society membership includes:

  • Weekly classes, Tuesdays 6:30 - 8:30
  • Fortnightly craft nights, Thurdays 6:30 - 8:30
  • Photoshoot opportunities
  • The opportunity to perform multiple times throughout the year
  • Monthly socials
  • Trips to burlesque events
  • Members group chat
