The Sheffield Hallam Psychology Society is open to all new and returning students, especially those with an interest in the science and philosophy of the human mind. We are a society run for the sole purpose of bringing together likeminded people and having fun. Our society is not just for Psychology students with our committee studying a range of degrees. We hope to make this year our best year yet. We have lots of plans for socials to destress from uni demands and are open to your social ideas.
Past committees have raised money for charities, delivered guest lectures, explored the Peak District, brought a pack of guide dogs to Collegiate Campus, and even won the award for 'Academic Society of the Year- SSA' at the Inspirational Students Awards 2022. We hope to emulate and improve upon this.
The society is also a great way to meet new people, from all levels of degree and across subjects. With committee members being able to provide support and guidance from their own experiences thus far at Hallam. We are currently in the process of finalising collaborations with local businesses to bring you great deals and exciting socials.
