About us

Welcome to the Sheffield Hallam East Asia Society!

 
Our committee members are made up of a diverse range of cultures and our aim is to set up a community where students can feel welcome and comfortable.
We want students to be able to explore East Asian culture, to broaden their perspectives, allowing them to experience East Asian traditions. We also provide East Asian students, a platform to socialise and further develop their communications skills with people from the UK. Don’t be shy, anyone can join!
 
Our membership is £5 (associate memberships are £7 - this is for non SHU students!), by joining you can collect exclusive discounts from our society for restaurants, supermarkets, events and get an exclusive goodie bag at the society fair.
