About us

 

Welcome to the Sheffield Hallam Christian Union! We are a vibrant community of students dedicated to living out our faith on campus. Our mission is to unite Christians from all backgrounds to demonstrate the love and values of God’s Kingdom and to share the transformative message of the Gospel with our fellow students.

What We Do

  • Weekly Gatherings: Our weekly gatherings, called Unite, happen every Thursday at 19:30 at the HUBs (SHU Students Union). Join us for worship, Bible study, and fellowship.
  • Prayer and Worship Meetings: We believe in the power of prayer and worship, so we dedicate some of our weekly meetings to worship our Creator God and to pray for our campus, our city, and the world.
  • Weekend Away: We organize a weekend away for deeper fellowship, spiritual growth, and fun activities. 31/01/24 - 02/02/24
  • Events Week: We host a week filled with events aimed at evangelism in the second semester. These events are designed to engage with the wider student body and share the Good News in creative and impactful ways.
  • Carol Service: Join us for a special service filled with Christmas carols and festive cheer Joint with Uni Of CU.
  • CU Winter Ball: Celebrate the end of the year with our winter ball, a night of fun, dancing, and fellowship Joint with Uni Of CU .
  • Socials: We organize various social events throughout the year to build community and have fun together.
  • Forum: a week-long training event over the summer organised by UCCF with hundreds of fellow christians from other CU's
