Upperthorpe Cafe Volunteer

This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

The Cafe Volunteers are responsible for running our cafes. They work with our trained chefs to prepare nutritious and affordable meals that are accessible to everyone. The meals are made using surplus food to show what can be done with food that would otherwise go to waste. By creating over 100 meals per day, tonnes of food are saved from being wasted while also feeding the community. The main activities involved in the role include meal preparation, serving food and drinks, using a coffee machine, serving customers, and keeping the front of the house clean and tidy.
