Rep of the Month March: Lucy Lee

After tallying up the amazing nominations, we are pleased to announce that the Rep of the Month for March is Lucy Lee!

Lucy studies BA Hon Journalism, Public Relations with Media and has gone above and beyond in their role as a Rep; for example, they set up an event for Journalism, PR and Media Students to meet and engage with an Award Winning PR Agency, they secured funding for students to visit the BBC Studios in London, and won a complaint that granted students a 19 day extension for every student in their year group!

We asked Lucy why they became a Course Rep : "I became a course rep to advocate for students so that they get the best value for money out of their university experience! I managed to secure students of my year group, extra time to go towards their dissertations by identifying and feeding back issues they had experienced in the course. I also created networking opportunities by setting up events with industry leads and continuously sign-posted events and opportunities to boost student CV's and LinkedIn profiles."
